From RAI to The European — How Europe Covered It

In the first half of 2026, Galaxy Corporation's Physical AI story was covered more often outside Korea than within it. Taken together, the international coverage reveals how outside observers are coming to define the company.

In June, Italy's public broadcaster RAI featured Galaxy Corporation as a leading case study in a special on Korea's AI and robotics industry. That a European public broadcaster chose an entertainment company — rather than a manufacturing conglomerate — as the anchor of its portrait of Korean robotics is evidence that Physical AI entertainment is gaining recognition abroad as a category in its own right.

The European introduced Galaxy's vision under the headline that humanoid robots could become the next K-pop stars. The backbone of the piece was the company's thesis: give robots character, costumes, cultural content and emotion-driven technology, and the robot itself becomes both performer and platform.

What US Tech Media Focused On

American tech outlets focused on concrete events. TechTimes reported on MACH33, the robot fashion show held in Seoul in May, down to the details of humanoids in cowboy hats, silks and Bowie-era trousers, while eWeek presented Galaxy Robot Park as the world's first theme park devoted entirely to robot-based entertainment. Yahoo Finance and AOL carried CEO Choi Yong-ho's message "The Future of AI is Soul," delivered at the finale of the UN AI for Good Summit in Geneva in July, and The Asia Business Daily, the English edition of a major Korean daily, recorded the humanoids dressed in AI-restored André Kim outfits unveiled at VivaTech 2026 in Paris as the opening act of a robot fashion industry.

The Category the Press Has Defined

The outlets and angles differ, but one thing is constant: not a single article calls Galaxy a robot manufacturer. What the foreign press is documenting is a company that dresses humanoids in emotion, character, fashion and K-content — a company building the cultural layer of Physical AI. An experiment that began on a stage in Seoul's Gangdong district is being translated, via the pages of Geneva, Paris and Rome, into an industry category of its own.
