What is Physical AI

However beloved an IP may be, if only one body can embody it, the stage stays scarce. Physical AI breaks exactly this bottleneck: put the IP into a robot body, and the stage is no longer confined to one person's stamina and time.

How Galaxy builds Physical AI

Galaxy pairs humanoid robots with motion-capture-based learning. Real idol choreography is captured as data, taught to robots, then transmitted over the network so multiple robots perform it at once. At a public showcase in May 2026, robots performed demanding synchronized routines to six songs by G-DRAGON and TAEMIN — idol-grade performance, arms swinging and bodies snapping to the beat.

The proving ground — Galaxy Robot Park

Galaxy Robot Park is where people experience Physical AI first. Choi defines it as "the place where the future of humans and robots living together can be experienced in reality before anywhere else." Spanning roughly 16,500 square meters (5,000 pyeong) in the Godeok area of Gangdong District, Seoul, it has moved through a soft opening toward a grand opening in September 2026.

The heart of the park is the K-pop robot show. Once fully open, the target is four or more performances a day — more than 1,000 a year — an operating model no human stage could sustain, possible only because robots don't tire. Around it sit interactive attractions: robot boxing matches, drawing robots, hugging robots and robot dogs.

Demand for Physical AI entertainment showed up early. About 8,000 people signed up for soft-opening reservations, and every weekend show in July sold out well in advance. International attention keeps building, too — Italy's public broadcaster RAI featured Galaxy in its coverage of Korea's AI and robotics industry.

The future Physical AI points to

Galaxy's Physical AI doesn't stop at performance. Choi says he built Robot Park because he "has no doubt that within 10 to 20 years we will live alongside robots." The goal is a place where children grow up interacting naturally with robots — pulling forward a world where Physical AI is part of everyday life.

The advantage of simultaneity soon extends worldwide. Galaxy is preparing a robot concert world tour starting in late 2026, transmitting performances trained in Korea to Japan, China, Dubai and beyond at the same time. The format of performance itself keeps expanding, too — including a Physical AI fashion show that puts robots on the runway.
