A K-pop robot show is built through a four-stage pipeline: choreography becomes data, robots learn it, it is transmitted to several cities at once, and it runs as a permanent operation.

Choreography into data — motion capture
The starting point is the human body. A real idol's choreography is recorded with motion capture, converting joint angles, speed and timing into data. Even a human dancer's subtle sense of rhythm and dynamics is quantified, producing "digital choreography" in a form robots can learn.
This stage decides the quality of the show. However precise the robot, if the source data is not stage-grade, there is no show. Using real artists' performances as the source material — that is exactly why an entertainment company is doing Physical AI.
Learning and the ensemble — idol-grade reproduction
The digital choreography is converted into humanoid robot motion and learned. Humans and robots differ in joint structure and center of gravity, so human movement has to be remapped onto the robot's body. Once trained, the robot reproduces idol-grade performance — arms swinging, body popping on the beat.
Ensemble routines go one step further: several robots must execute the same choreography with identical timing. At the May 2026 public showcase, the robots performed demanding synchronized routines to six songs by G-DRAGON and TAEMIN — beyond individual reproduction, the whole stage synchronized as a single system.
Learn in Seoul, dance in Dubai
The decisive differentiator of robot shows is that learning spreads simultaneously. Teach one routine, and networked robots in several cities can reproduce the same stage at the same time.

A stage that never tires — permanent operations
The pipeline ends in an operating model: the permanent show. Robots have no limits of stamina, so four or more shows a day — more than 1,000 a year — become viable, a scale impossible for a human stage. After its official opening, Galaxy Robot Park aims to run its K-pop robot arena on this model.
