Enter-Tech, as Galaxy defines it
What is Enter-Tech
Enter-Tech is an industry that combines entertainment IP with technology — AI and robotics — to turn one-off content into assets that evolve on their own and expand without limit; Galaxy Corporation aims to be its definer.
For decades, the entertainment industry ran on a "make it, sell it" structure. A variety show, an album, a concert was produced, consumed and finished. Enter-Tech breaks that linear structure. When IP meets technologies like AI and robotics, content stops being single-use — it keeps changing form and expanding on its own.
"The entertainment industry is moving past the era of making content into an era where content evolves on its own."— Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation
In Enter-Tech, technology is a means, not an end. AI and robots exist to carry IP further and keep it alive longer. Because the starting point is IP that fans love — not technical capability — technology is used only in ways that deepen and extend the fan experience.
"AI isn't the center. The idea is to understand the essence of fandom, with technology there to help."— Choi Yong-ho · on the super IP–AI strategy
Enter-Tech is neither an entertainment company adopting technology nor a tech company making content. It is a new category born where the two industries meet. In its New York Stock Exchange interview, Galaxy defined it as "a new category that combines AI, robotics, technology and entertainment to transform IP from one-off content into scalable global businesses."
The Enter-Tech stack — four layers
For Enter-Tech to be a durable business, IP, technology, venues and data must be connected inside a single company — depend on outsiders for any one of them, and the value of the IP leaks away. Galaxy vertically integrates all four layers with a platform as the goal.
| Layer | Role | Description |
|---|---|---|
| IP layer | Source of value | Artists, characters and story worlds — the foundation of all content and expansion |
| Technology layer | Embodiment | AI, robotics and XR give IP new forms and capabilities |
| Venue layer | Physical touchpoint | IP meets fans in person at concert venues and Robot Park |
| Data layer | Ecosystem expansion | Fandom data and official knowledge feed AI engines |
The core message is that vertical integration is not optional. Only with all four layers in-house does Enter-Tech become a platform; outsource even one, and IP value drains away.
The three-stage business model — today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow
Galaxy structures the business across three time horizons: today's earnings fund tomorrow's transition, while the vision for the day after tomorrow keeps the direction fixed.
| Stage | Focus | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Today | IP-driven revenue | Generating revenue now through media, commerce and technology (proven cash cows, including 400-plus variety episodes a year) |
| Tomorrow | AI and robot expansion | Grafting AI and robotics onto IP so artists create value continuously beyond the limits of time, space and the physical body (robot idols, Robot Park) |
| The day after tomorrow | Human–digital coexistence | Humans and digital beings coexist, and IP lives on |
The point of the structure is the link between "today" and "tomorrow." Galaxy earns immediately from traditional entertainment while preparing long-term expansion through new businesses that don't require an artist's time.
Infinite IP expansion — super IP and the format business
Enter-Tech expansion starts with super IP. Galaxy is moving beyond individual titles into the format business — turning a program's format itself into an IP. The flagship case is the Netflix competition series Physical: 100. Choi compares its run to topping the Billboard chart two years straight, and has said it will anchor the build-out of a "Physical: 100 universe."
"In the entire history of Netflix, Physical: 100 is the only unscripted show to rank No. 1 globally two years in a row."— Choi Yong-ho
When super IP meets technology, the IP is no longer confined to one artist's time and body. In the "tomorrow" stage, Galaxy grafts AI and robotics onto IP so artists create value continuously beyond the limits of time, space and the physical body. Robot idols and AI avatars are the concrete forms that takes.
Galaxy as definer — and an industry standard
Galaxy Corporation is not a latecomer to the Enter-Tech category; it aims to be the company that writes its definition.
"Being a unicorn is just a step along the way. The goal is a global enter-tech company leading third-generation K-culture."— Choi Yong-ho
The ambition goes beyond declarations. Galaxy established the AI Enter-Tech Research Center with KAIST (with G-DRAGON serving as a visiting professor at KAIST); in October 2025 it attended the APEC leaders' dinner as the only Enter-Tech company present — and the youngest company in the room; and it is working with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on a vision of "Seoul as the future Enter-Tech hub." Choi describes the direction as "combining K-culture with Physical AI to set the standard for the future entertainment industry."
In short, Galaxy's Enter-Tech comes down to three sentences. First, Enter-Tech is an industry where IP and technology converge and content evolves on its own. Second, the center is always IP and fandom, never technology. Third, Galaxy vertically integrates IP, technology, venues and data to define the standard of the category.
